WHY I AM SO COMMITED TO PROPER MOTOR DEVELOPMENT?

In my work over the past 20 years I have found, that muscle and connective tissue abnormalities that are undiscovered or neglected in infancy (by which I mean the “s/he will outgrow it” cases) are preserved in the body and nervous system of babies. These preserved errors are then “skillfully” transformed and compensated for by the body (as it cannot outgrow it), which is why 62% of kindergarteners show various problems during orthopedic screening (e.g. slouching, scoliosis, flatfoot, etc.)

This figure is quite worrying, therefore we have to identify problems in time, as early as infancy.

Compensation for muscular defects is controlled by the nervous system, which is forced to overwork and is therefore unable to mature properly.

Due to the overworking of the nervous system, at age 5-6 when school admission tests are performed, the child will only be able to concentrate for a short period of time. This will be assessed as a disorder of motion, attention and behavior, and the child’s nervous system will be rated immature. If the asymmetries of the muscular system (which have existed for 5-6 years), and the maturation of the nervous system cannot be resolved within a year, by the time school begins it can lead to even more serious learning difficulties in several areas.

To avoid this avalanche, we need to detect asymmetries in our baby’s body in time. This is why prevention and proper motor development are crucial!

“Success in mobility fuels self-confidence. The foundation of intellectual development is motion.”

where did the babamozgató idea come from?

Parents of the babies I work with receive one or two homework exercises after every session. These exercises reassure them, as they too experience the week-to-week improvement during their practices at home. With the help of these exercises they can also detect and recognize the differences and asymmetries in their baby’s body.

Over the years, parents expressed a need for a series of exercises that can be done at home. This is what prompted me to develop the  system. USE IT to help your baby’s development! This is a professionally grounded, home-based exercise system compiled by me, a physiotherapy specialist. It follows your baby’s motoric and reflex development month to month, and provides you with step-by-step visual and audio-visual help!

HOW Does this home-based exercise system help?

  • you can track the appropriate levels of motor development from birth to walking
  • provides an opportunity for early detection, because it brings discrepancies to the surface and thus the parent can turn to a professional in time
  • gives the baby a kind of physical freedom and well-being
  • strengthens the bond between parent and child, as babies love to receive their mother’s attention
  • regular exercise is always rewarded with a huge smile
